In order to reduce fluid resistance, the flow channel surface is usually smoothed to avoid sharp corners and rough surfaces, thereby improving fluid delivery efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
There are connection ports at both ends of the valve body. Common connection methods include flange connection, threaded connection and welding connection. Function
Bearing medium pressure: In the pipeline system, the flat valve body needs to withstand the pressure from the medium in the pipeline to ensure that the valve can operate safely and reliably in both closed and open states. Its structural design and material selection must meet the corresponding pressure level requirements to prevent the valve body from rupture or deformation due to excessive pressure, thereby ensuring the safe and stable operation of the pipeline system.
Provide a sealed environment: The valve body, valve plate, valve stem and other components together constitute a sealing system. Through precise processing and matching, it is ensured that the valve can effectively cut off the fluid when closed to prevent medium leakage. The sealing performance of the valve body directly affects the sealing effect of the entire flat valve. Therefore, in the design and manufacturing process, a variety of sealing measures need to be taken, such as using high-quality sealing materials and optimizing the sealing structure.
Connecting the pipeline system: As the main structure of the flat valve, the valve body connects the valve to the pipeline system through its connection port to realize the connection and cutoff function of the pipeline. It needs to be matched and connected with pipelines of different materials and different calibers. Therefore, the versatility and interchangeability of the connection should be considered during design and manufacturing to ensure that the valve can be easily installed and disassembled, which is convenient for the maintenance and transformation of the pipeline system.
