Vortex flowmeter
3 week agoThe vortex flowmeter is mainly composed of a bluff body (such as a triangular prism or cylindrical object), a sensor and a transmitter. When the fluid passes through the bluff body, alternating vortices will be generated downstream of it. This phenomenon is called Karman vortex street. The frequency of the vortex is proportional to the flow velocity of the fluid. By detecting the vortex frequency, the sensor converts it into an electrical signal, and then the transmitter converts the electrical signal into a flow value for display or remote transmission.
1. High precision: The measurement accuracy can usually reach ±0.75% - ±1.5%, which can provide accurate flow measurement for industrial production processes and meet various occasions with high flow accuracy requirements.
2. Wide range ratio: The range ratio is generally 10:1 to 30:1, and some products can even reach 20:1. It can achieve accurate measurement in a wide flow range and can adapt well to both low and high flow conditions.
3. Low maintenance cost: There are no moving parts, which reduces failures caused by mechanical wear, reduces maintenance frequency and cost, and does not require regular replacement of wearing parts, which is more worry-free during use.
4. Good media compatibility: Suitable for a variety of media such as liquids, gases and steam, with a wide range of applications, which can meet the flow measurement needs of different industries and different media.
5. Low pressure loss: The pressure loss is about 1/4 to 1/2 of the orifice flowmeter. When used in a pipeline system, it can effectively reduce energy loss and reduce operating costs.
6. Stable output signal: The output is a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate, without zero drift, and the signal has strong anti-interference ability. It can be transmitted over long distances, which is convenient for data interaction and system integration with other devices.
