Turbine flow meter
3 week agoThe turbine flowmeter is a velocity flowmeter that uses an impeller placed in the fluid to sense the average flow velocity of the fluid, converts the flow velocity into the speed of the turbine, and then converts the speed into an electrical signal proportional to the flow rate, thereby realizing the measurement of the fluid flow rate, which can be used to detect instantaneous flow rate and total integrated flow rate.
Working Principle
The fluid flows through the sensor housing. Under the action of the fluid impulse, the impeller overcomes the friction torque and fluid resistance and begins to rotate. When the torque is balanced, the speed stabilizes. Because the blades are magnetically conductive, they are in the magnetic field of the signal detector composed of permanent magnets and coils. The rotating blades cut the magnetic lines of force, periodically changing the magnetic flux of the coil, so that electrical pulse signals are induced at both ends of the coil. After amplification and shaping, this signal forms a continuous rectangular pulse wave, which is transmitted to the display instrument. Within a certain flow range, the pulse frequency is proportional to the instantaneous flow rate of the fluid.
