Electromagnetic flowmeter
3 week agoElectromagnetic flowmeter is a new type of electromagnetic flow measurement instrument designed based on Faraday's electromagnetic induction theory. It mainly consists of three parts: sensor, converter and display instrument. It can be used to measure the volume flow of conductive fluid in a closed pipeline.
Working Principle
When the conductive fluid flows in a pipeline with an external magnetic field, it will cut the magnetic lines of force and output an induced voltage on the detection electrode of the sensor. After the voltage signal is received by the converter, it is amplified, corrected, converted, and displayed on the display instrument. The flow of the conductive liquid can be calculated by the measured voltage signal.

Product Classification
According to the composition structure: the sensor and converter of the separated electromagnetic flowmeter are placed separately. The converter can avoid the influence of harsh environment, but the anti-electromagnetic interference ability is weak; the integrated type integrates the sensor and converter into an integrated design, which is easy to wire and low cost, but is easily restricted by the pipeline layout and inconvenient to maintain.
According to the excitation method: there are DC excitation type, AC power frequency excitation type, low-frequency rectangular wave excitation type and dual-frequency excitation type. Among them, the low-frequency rectangular wave excitation type is widely used, and the dual-frequency excitation type has excellent stability.
According to the purpose: there are general type, explosion-proof type, sanitary type, anti-immersion type, submersible type and insertion type, etc., which can meet the special needs of different industries.
