Hot Rolled Checkered Steel Plate Checkered Steel Plate refer to steel Plate with raised (or sunken) patterns on the surface.
Checkered steel plate, also known as textured steel plate, is a steel plate with rhombus or ribs on its surface.
The pattern can be a single rhombus, lentil or round bean shape, and can also be properly combined with two or more patterns to form a combined pattern plate.
The pattern mainly plays the role of anti-slip and decoration. The combined effects of anti-slip ability, bending resistance, metal saving and appearance of combined checkered plate are obviously better than single checkered plate.
Checkered steel plates are widely used in shipbuilding, boilers, automobiles, tractors, train carriages and construction industries.
The checkered steel plate can be used as floors, factory escalators, working frame pedals, ship decks, and automobile floor plates because of its ribbed surface and anti-skid effect.
Checkered steel plate is used for treads of workshops, large equipment or ship walkways and stairs. It is a steel plate with rhombus or lenticular pattern on the surface.
The steel plate is made of ordinary carbon steel No. 1-3 Class B steel, with a thickness of 2.5-8 mm, a width of 600-1800 mm, and a length of 2000-12000 mm.
The specification of checkered steel plate is represented by the basic thickness (the thickness of the rib is not counted), and there are 10 specifications of 2.5-8 mm. Checker plate steel plate with No. 1-3.
The height of the checkered plate is not less than 0.2 times the thickness of the base plate;
Checkered steel plate is delivered according to actual weight or theoretical weight;
Marking example: made of Q235-A, the size is 4*1000*4000mm.

The steel plate is delivered in a hot-rolled state; the surface of the checkered steel plate must not have bubbles, scars, cracks, folds and inclusions, and the steel plate must not have delamination.
There are two levels of surface quality:
Ordinary precision: The surface of the steel plate is allowed to have a thin layer of iron oxide scale, rust, surface roughness due to the peeling off of the iron oxide scale, and other local defects whose height or depth exceeds the allowable deviation. Inconspicuous burrs and individual traces whose height does not exceed the grain height are allowed on the pattern. The maximum area of a single defect shall not exceed the square of the grain length.
Higher precision: The surface of the steel plate is allowed to have a thin layer of iron oxide scale, rust and other local defects whose height or depth does not exceed half of the thickness tolerance.
The pattern is intact, and the pattern is allowed to have local slight burrs whose height does not exceed half of the thickness tolerance.
