In the actual vibration test, the specimen or fixture will often be larger than the electrodynamic table moving circle table surface, then it is necessary to expand the original table surface, the common approach is to install an auxiliary extension table. In terms of operating frequency, table weight, table acceleration, amplitude uniformity and lateral motion, there are strict requirements for the extension table. Extended tables provide a larger mounting surface for vertical testing than moving coils. Extension tables are made of lightweight magnesium alloy, which provides a high strength-to-weight ratio. For smaller fixtures, cheaper aluminium alloys are available, adding less to the overall mass. Extension tables allow for simultaneous testing of multiple items, reducing testing time. Extension tables with load support guides allow large specimens to be mounted and tested reliably, reducing the risk of damage to the shaker suspension. Extension tables with guides can be used to simulate the testing of large, heavy equipment in harsh transport conditions, as well as the testing of more demanding equipment with additional constraints and loads. The fixtures can also be designed to fit the customer's test specimen exactly. Cubic, L-type and T-type fixtures can be used to test multiple small parts. For triaxial testing, the Cubic, L and T fixtures are preferred and do not require the addition of a horizontal slide. The fixtures are designed using the latest software for FEM calculations, which ensures that the fixtures are designed with superior dynamic performance.
