Cold room insulated swinging doors

Cold room hinged door is swinging opening type Cold Room Doors for pedestrian purpose inside cooler rooms. Workers can use it to get in or out from the cold rooms. Cold room hinged door is made from PU sandwich panel, with double skin steel sheet and filling material. The Cold Storage Door panel is with excellent thermal insulation perforance because of high R-value polyurethane foam filling in it. And when cold room hinged door is closed, its handle lockset can give a force to press door leaf onto door frame tightly. At the same time, soft weather seal rubber is fixed all round door leaf to eliminate gap between Cold Store Doors leaf and frame. So cold room hinged door is highly airtight. 

Excellent thermal insulation

Door panel of insulated Cool Room Doors is thick double layer structure sandwich panel. Middle is filled with polyurethane foam. Total Thickness available for 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm. Density of filling PU foam reaches 45kg/m³, and with closed porocity ≥95% . Thus it gains excellent thermal insulation. Thermal conductivity factor: 0.018-0.023 W/(m.k). 

High airtightness

At four sides of insulated cold room hinged door leaf, there are double tooth EPDM seal rubber.  On left side, right side and top lintel of Cold Storage Door opening, there are aluminum profile wall cover. It is to be fixed at the surface of wall, and facing the seal rubber. Thus when cold room hinged door is closed, the seal rubber will press onto the aluminum wall cover tightly, to eliminate gap between cold room hinged door and its frame. This minimize air and heat leakage through the insulated cold room hinged door.

Fire retardant 

Filling PU foam is specially treated with proportion of fire-resist chemical agent. This obviously improve fire retardant performance of cold room hinged door panel. It can reach B1 grade. This is very beneficial for fire protection safety in cold rooms. 

Rust-proof in humid cold rooms

Huge temperature difference in cold rooms brings heavy humidity with a much vapor forming in every minute. So steel material is easy to rust in cold rooms. Kenvo cold room hinged door panels are covered with powder coated galvanized steel or 304 stainless steel. So it is double protected by both painting and galvanized layers. Top track and frames are made from aluminum profile, with excellent rust-proof capacity. 

Heater to avoid freezing

For low temperature cold rooms, we supply the insulated Cold Room Doors with all-round heating belt. Such heating belt is intelligent self-limiting-temperature wires which will automatically control the temperature within 60-70℃, to warm up the edge of cold room swing door, to avoid freezing and ice. Because of self-limiting ability, it avoid risk of overheating causing fire accidents.

Easy to open and close by hand

A long bar handle on the door leaf, easily to open the cold room hinged door with hand.  (see below left side picture)

Escape exit in emergency

There is a possiblity that worker is locked inside the cold room. In such case, it is very dangerous for human life because of low temperature. Kenvo cold room hinged doors use a emergency escape push handle. Even the door is locked from outside, inside people can directly open the door by pushing emergency exit handle. This can avoid harm for human life. (see above right side picture)
